TERMS & CONDITIONS

By using this system, you are granting the USDSCF the right to use the information to establish services with you.  Using this system does not obligate you to participation, however you may be held subject to cancellation policies as set forth by the rules and regulations of this competition. This site, the USDSCF, and DanceBug, and any other providers are not responsible for the validity of the information provided by you.

 

REGISTRATION:
Official online entries must be completed in their entirety.  Once submitted, all registered entries have agreed to the Release of Liability.  The USDSCF is not responsible for mistakes made while entering routines, such as but not limited to age, category, level.

 

PAYMENTS:
Once an independent dancer or  studio creates entries in the online registration portal, they are liable for all entry fees associated with the entries in the studio/dancer account.  Entry fees can be paid by studio check, money order, or credit card.  Credit card payments are accepted directly through the studio account.   A service fee will be assessed for all credit card payments.  Only certified checks or credit card payments will be accepted for balances due 30 -14 days prior to the event date.  Only overnight certified checks or credit payments will be accepted for balances due 14-7 days prior to the event date.  Only credit card payments will be accepted for balances due 7 days or less prior to the event date.  NOTE: Studios must issue one check for all entries.  A $25 charge will be issued for checks returned or credit cards denied.  All balances must be paid in full prior to the competition.  Entries will only be accepted once payment has been processed and made in full.

 

RIGHT TO EXTEND:
Entries are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The USDSCF reserves the right to extend any event to accommodate entries received. The USDSCF also reserves the right to close the competition prior to the deadline should the number of entries received exceed the time allotted. The USDSCF reserves the right to re-locate or re-schedule any event.

 

CANCELLATIONS:
Any cancellations of entries by independent dancers or studios will result in a loss of all deposits and entry fees for that event. 

 

REFUNDS:
The USDSCF reserves the right to cancel any event that does not meet the minimum number of acceptable entries.  In the event the USDSCF must cancel competition due to low enrollment, entry fees will be refunded.  Deposits submitted are non-refundable and there are no refunds for entries if the required minimum number of acts are registered and the competition has been confirmed and/or rescheduled.

If a technological problem occurs, photos, videos, and/or critiques are not guaranteed for each routine.  Refunds will not be issued for any technological errors.

After May 4, 2021 the Virtual Competition is in effect and no refunds will be issued for any reason.

Judges' decisions are final.  No refunds, credits, and/or discounts will be applied for dissatisfaction of scores and/or results.

 

DATES AND LOCATIONS:
The USDSCF reserves the right to add additional competition days and/or change the date or location of a competition.  Refunds will not be issued for date or location changes.

UPDATE ACCOUNTS:
The USDSCF is not responsible for inaccurate information on your studio account.  Including but not limited to, name, studio point of contact, email, phone number, and mailing address.

 

PHOTOS, VIDEOS, AND CRITIQUES:
If a technological problem occurs, photos, videos, and/or critiques are not guaranteed for each routine.  Refunds will not be issued for any technological errors.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO:

All independent dancers/studios/parents/dancers grant permission for the USDSCF and IDO to use photography and videography of their performances for promotional purposes including advertising, publicity, and posting on social media outlets.

 

HOLD HARMLESS:
The independent dancer, studio, it's representatives, performers, spectators and attendees ("STUDIO") HEREBY RELEASES AND HOLDS HARMLESS the USDSCF, Inc., their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY INJURY AND ILLNESS (including COVID 19 or any other virus, flu or airborne illness), DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to a person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by the law.

PRIVACY POLICY

The USDSCF does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of, or with, the USDSCF under confidentiality agreements.  These companies may use your personal information to help Headliners communicate with you about offers from the USDSCF and our marketing partners.  However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.

  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

  • We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the USDSCF's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

The USDSCF reserves the right to withdraw or change the policies and procedures listed at any time.
